what do you think of this person???I was at a mal when I was little (probably in kindergarten) and I had just gotten a surgery so I was in a wheelchair with a cast on my left leg and this older lady walked up to me and my mom and said "why would you abuse a poor little girl like that?" and my mom just explained that I got a surgery and the lady said "oh,sorry.well did you know that she was going to be crippled before she was born?" and my mom said yes and the lady said "then why would you keep her? she’s useless" and my mom went off on her. I can remember it like it was yesterday…what do you think of her?
Holy s**t someone said that to your mom? That’s the rudest thing ever. It was your mothers choice, not that dumb @$$ lady’s. I personally see nothing wrong with have a child with a disability. They just may need a little more, physical or emotional help. Nothing wrong with that.
Something is wrong with people who think it’s unacceptable to make a choice and let people live their lives.
You are not useless. I bet you are very smart. Even thought you could be one of the best scientists ever. Matter of fact I am willing to bet that lady wouldn’t even be alive if someone who was disabled hadn’t been smart enough to come up with a vaccine, or some medical technology.
People never know what other people are capable of. Anyone who thinks someone is useless, is useless themselves.
