Wheelchair Parts

I am literate, have some basic computer skills and can build a computer with confidence. I would like to learn computer programing in order to explore some ideas I have. I am in a wheelchair most hours of the day and have lots of free time. I do not have lots of money however and college is not an option. Basically I need to learn at home for the least amount of money possible. I believe any goal can be achieved if broken into small enough parts. What I need is a step by step guide of those parts.

I used to be in a motorized wheelchair,and could not walk. I was even blind for a while. What would you do if you became the miracle that others looked to believe in. I am not saying I am what others believe in, I believe that this is God’s work. I am struggling with the what to do about it now part. It seems a waist to not share the miracles we experience in life no matter how big or small they are. What do you think you would do if all eyes were own you saying because of your miracle they believe?

All I remember is a part of this movie where there’s an old guy pretending to be paralyzed or catatonic, but his nurse doesn’t believe him. She tries to get him to react to various things she does and finally she ends up wheeling him outside in his wheelchair and tossing him into the lake, and that finally got him to stop the act.

does it matter that i have my knees on the floor when i do the push ups? remember, i’m in a wheelchair so i don’t have much stength in my legs. or does my posture have to be stiff in the knees?

What do you recommend I use to lube all the moving parts? Wheels, brakes, ect…

I’ve been using WD-40 for a few years, but all the joints get gunked up faster than my wife can clean them. It’s her wheelchair by the way.

I want to get an academic reference if possible but Google isnt in the mood to help me today! Either that or I am looking in the wrong places! My boyfriend has a T5 spinal injury that he received 12 years ago, and he is now wheelchair bound. He has very little feeling in his hands and other parts of his body, like his stomach. He also can’t move his fingers. Is there any possible solution for him to get some movement back in his hands or better?

i may have to get surgery and for some time i will feel weak, and will need a lot of help. i’ll probabbly need to be driven to school and all. will girls or people around think less of me?

i know it shouldn’t matter. but won’t it be a turn off? i’m thinking i’ll smell cuz i’ll have a hard time showering the cast part or whatever. and all. i don’t what to expect and that is scary. i’m not sure if i’ll need surgery but there is a possibility.

Online dating sucks and doesn’t work. All I get are answers from people that live in Russia, Ukraine and the U.S.A. US people are ok, but transportation is the difficult part.

I noticed his legs in that movie were very skinny, and I was wondering if he really confined himself to a wheelchair for a while so that his legs got that skinny and he could play his part more realistically. Please include reliable sources with your answer. Thanks.

My uncle fell down from the tree and there is some problem with spine, so bottom part of his body is paralysed. He is in wheelchair, but needs treatments to do exercises so he can keep his upper body strong, which costs a lot of money. He is from Eastern European country, people don`t have money there. I am trying to find some sponsor companies that can help me or open some funds on the internet, just don`t know how to do it. please help

I’m writing this story and part of my plot has to do with spinal fluid. Could you please tell me how much spinal fluid you would have to lose to die, or what would happen if you lost a lot of spinal fluid?
Does loss of spinal fluid have anything to do with being in a wheelchair? What would have to happen to your spinal fluid to put you in a wheelchair? Also, if you can tell me anything else about spinal fluid, please do. Only please tell me in some sort or non-funky-confusing- doctor terms… otherwise you’ll confuse me. thank you!

Everyone else answered that people were very rude to people in wheelchairs. I live in the Midwest and my experience has been that people are generally more polite to people in wheelchairs. What do you think? What part of the U.S. (if you are in the U.S.) do you live in?

I am looking for a wheelchair accessible, 1 or 2 bedroom apt. in the cooler parts of the U.S. Must be really compliant, ie: all appliences in the kitchen must be lowered to wheelchair height, bathroom must be big enough to accommodate a wheelchair and a roll-in shower, bedrooms must be large enough to allow wheelchair on both sides of full sized bed. Must allow pets. Would like to have access to outdoor patio or someplace to sit outside.

why did God not heal every human being that is blind or deaf or paralyzed like I am I mean are we just trash? and secondly should I even believe or am I already dammed to hell since Im in a wheelchair?

i have the wheelchair becky barbie doll and the box says "she’s the school photographer!" i like that they made dolls to represent different people and its nice for a child in a wheelchair to atleast have the option of having a toy in the wheelchair. the problem i have is the way the made her "the school photographer" its not horrible, but something about it seems like a put down, like she is not quiet cool enough. they might as well have made her part of the drama club!

Yes, Halloween is 2 months away but my mother needs time to make costumes for both of my children.

I’m used to American cities where certain parts of most cities are not safe at night. Many of them are not even safe in the day! We will be walking between the Hospital de Egas Moniz and the Hotel Vila Gale Opera at the foot of the April 25 bridge. And is that region very hilly? For two days we will have my son in a wheelchair and the rest of the time it will be my husband and me. Are the sidewalks suitable for a wheelchair in that area? We will also stay one night at the Best Western Hotel Eduardo VII and will have our son with us. Is that area very hilly? The land is extremely flat where we live, so this is going to be interesting. We intend to do some siteseeing, but our main purpose is to take our son to the hospital for stem cell surgery.
